Here is the scenario: DH had to go in super early to work. So my options for getting in my 85 minute run were: (1) get up at 4 am and do it; or (2) get up early to work, get kiddos on bus, then do it. As I have mentioned lately, I am dog tired. The fact that DH and I didn't go to bed until 11 last night didn't help. Option 1 was just not viable. So I got up at 5, worked and got the kids ready for school. But then of course, I started getting inundated with e-mails and I simply didn't have the time to run. And tonight, we are taking my mom to dinner for her birthday, so it is not happening tonight (although steak and cabernet will) :)
I know in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter that I missed this workout. At all. And it is probably a good thing given how beat up and tired I am. I have been running around like a crazy woman this week with work, GOTR stuff, board meetings, hair cuts, kid stuff, etc.
Of course, I still feel incredibly guilty about it anyway. Do you beat yourself up if you missed a scheduled training run, or are you able to roll with the punches better than I do?

If I miss a workout, I'll usually try to fit it in somewhere else. If it's just a "regular" run...nah.
