Seriously, 120s. I am talking heart rate now. And that is an amazing number even if I am looking at a 10 m/m. My max HR is just over 200. I think the max HR I ever logged was 204 in 2007. Now, probably closer to 200.
In 2007, I bumped up my miles and was PUMPED to hit the 130s during my easy/recovery runs. Seriously, 139 was off the charts cool. And I hit a big fat marathon PR (among many others) during that time.
In 2009, when I again bumped up my miles, I hit the 130s and was so excited. And again, I hit a PR, although this time by only seconds and only in the marathon distance.
Now, this season? Well, it has rocked. I know what you are thinking: "yeah, Mindi you are the eternal optimist and always mentally prepping for the big race." True. But, this time, I feel a PR is in my hands. I put in the work, and it is my football to fumble, so to speak. I have seen 120s in my HR at least 3-4 times the last 30 days (when I was paying attention). And I have been hitting my intervals like clockwork at decent HRs. Lower paces and lower HRs from seasons past.
Woot!
What does this mean? I don't really know. But mentally, I am really getting my game on.
Also, I lost 7 pounds in the last 3+ weeks and I feel lean and strong.

Mileage and weight is 90% of the battle IMHO. Plus, the HRM don't lie. You're going to do awesome.
Wow! Great numbers on the HRM. It's always so exciting to see such low numbers that point in the training.
You are a lean, mean racing machine!!!
