Okay, better late than never. Here's how my training shook out last week:
M: rest / arms & core
T: 4.22 (9:53) in slushy, slippery snow / legs & core
W: 9.6 (9:01) faster finish - road conditions not good enough for tempo work
T: 9 w/4 x 1 mile at tempo (7:25, 7:27, 7:37, 7:19); 60 second recoveries
F: rest
S: 9.1 (9:20) - wicked cold with the 15-20 mph winds
Su: 13 super easy pace but hilly (9:31) / arms, legs & core
Total: 45 and change
Was feeling really recharged during my weekly runs, but was sore after Saturday's run. Not sure why b/c pace was easy. Maybe the frigid temps?
This week I am hoping to put some miles back on, schedule is still flexible for the next 2 weeks. I may do a 5K on Saturday if road conditions are reasonable. Unfortunately that is not looking like a good prospect. It is snowing now and the temps are supposed to really dip down again this week.
Happy running everyone.

I hope that 5K works out for you, I like having a shorter race in the winter to sharpen me up.
Nicely done. ~30 minutes at tempo looks tough to me. (I'm a weenie.)
