I want to run a 3:25 marathon. He wants to kick my butt in any 5Ks over spring and summer, and have a fast mile in July. More importantly, he wants to be running back in fall. So let's train, mom, please.

Yes, I am bouncing around the room that my kid wants to run. And more so after today's run. He hesitated getting out the door, but as all runners can relate, he was elated when he returned. And he wants to know when we run next. Woot!
He wants a treadmill schedule (2-3 miles) 2x a week, then a workout with me on the weekend. Goals: increase to 5 miles as he wants to race Crazylegs and build up endurance and leg strength for football.
Game on.
BTW: Neck pain is better!
