So I have discovered two new facts this week:
1. I do indeed possess great mental toughness.
2. I am a complete heavy sloth and I need to drop the excess pounds I have gained the last year.
Here is the weekly breakdown:
M: rest
T: 8 miles progressive on the TM (8:50)
W: rest
R: 10 miles progressive on the TM (8:52)
F: rest
Sa: 5.51 outside in the slush (9:34)
Su: .78 on the TM, had to stop b/c the kids were freaking out; then did 13 progressive (8:57). First hour was at a 9:13 pace, then I played with the pace a little. Did 1.5 at 8:00 pace (MP?). Overall a good run.
Total: 37.3 , with 31.8 on the treadmill!!!!
Next week I start running 5 days a week and should finally get back up to 40 miles. I am already wishing I was logging higher mileage at this point, but I know soon enough the increasing miles will get harder and harder with work obligations, kids, life.
On a side note, it is -30 today with the wind chill (again) and we have a ridiculous amount of snow. I don't think it is supposed to hit the 30s until Friday or Saturday. Why did I leave Florida?!?!

Nice week, especially for somebody who doesn't like the dreadmill. The older I get the more time I spend each winter thinking about moving.
Thanks Adam. I was actually thinking of you today as I was running and decided a HADD test may be in order to get some of these mid week medium long runs out of the way.
That is some serious treadmill mileage! I couldn't do it if I had to run on a TM.
Great week of training!
