Today I had planned to work, but after a couple of hours I decided I was ready for the holidays. We have been getting inundated with snow this week, so for my run I gave my new Kahtoola Microspikes a spin. They were great! Very stable. The run was crazy cold because it was so windy, but all in all a nice Christmas Eve run.
I hope you have a blessed and wonderful Christmas!

Those things look funny! Do your shoes feel weird with them on? Do you feel any different after your runs?
I should get some, with all my outdoor running.
They are really weird, but are PERFECT for running on snowy, icy roads. A couple of years ago I got the "Get a Grip Ice Joggers" but they were really wimpy, left me unstabilized and didn't work well. These bad boys have some real teeth to them, and even if you hit dry road, you are stable. I recommend it. Truthfully, the biggest reason I got them is that I thought if I spent the $ on them, we would get no more snow. Heh. We also got a snow blower this week. Wouldn't you know it is now 45 degrees and sprinkling to nicely melt the 40 inches of snow we have gotten!
